According to a tweet by China Block reporter Colin Wu, at a recent exhibition in Chengdu, Beijing-based mining hardware giant Bitmain introduced a new mining machine designed to extract LightCoin and DodgeCoin. Wu reported that the new extraction device, called the Antminer L7 / 9500MH / s 2YWarranty 2PSUs, has a hash rate of 9,500 MHz per second and requires 3,425 watts of power to operate. The processing power of this new device is equivalent to 19 Antminer L3 devices of the previous flagship bitcoin mining machine, which is still advertised on Amazon as “the most powerful lightcoin mining machine with a hash rate of 504 MHz per second”.
